Ila Faye Bedsaul Sawyers age 90 of Woodlawn, Va. passed away Wednesday, Augusr 23, 2006 in Twin County Regional Hospital. She was born on Monday, October 4, 1915 in Carroll County, Va. to the late Lawrence and Celia Stoneman Bedsaul. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rush Anderson Sawyers, Sr.. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra E. Tanner of Bernie, Missouri; Deborah J. Barnes of Zebulon, N.C.; Myrna L. Keller of Cary, N.C.; her sons, Rush A. Sawyers, Jr. of Woodlawn, Va. and Michael Allen Sawyers of Grovetown, Georgia. Twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 2:00 PM in the Southside Church of Christ with Clint Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
