Ida M. Dalton age 90 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
Ms. Dalton was born on August 22, 1922 in Wythe County, Virginia to Chester and Della Sutherland Dalton.
She is survived by her children and spouses Alfred Lee Dalton; Howard W. and Marie Dalton of Galax, Virginia; Carol Jean Dalton; Mary Magaline and James Blevins of Galax, Virginia; three
grandchildren; special friend Ruth Smythers of Galax, Virginia.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 noon until time for the service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. The family request no food please.
