Howard Edward Lineberry "Jr.", age 80, of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018. Mr. Lineberry was born in Carroll County, April 10, 1938 to the late Howard Edward Lineberry and Ettie Mae Tilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Paul Edward Lineberry, Joe Bill Lineberry, Thomas George Lineberry, and Jewel Joyce Lineberry Cox.

Mr. Lineberry is survived by care giver and friend, Wanda Harris of Galax. Also surviving are siblings: Opal Lineberry Adkins Hale of Roanoke, Joan Gray Lineberry of Roanoke, and Brenda Faye Edwards of Galax, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Galax, Virginia at 12:00 PM with Pastor Sam Bartlett. Interment will follow in the Felts Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM Tuesday until time for the service.
