Howard Cecil Brown, age 95, of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday May 27, 2023 in his home.

Howard was born on February 28, 1928 in Ahoskie, North Carolina to the late Jeffery John and Virginia Ann Farless Brown. He was also preceded in death by his wife Billie Burke Sexton Brown; and sisters Mary Ann Cormer and Josie Evlyn Windslow.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Dennis Ray and Sabrina Brown of Chesapeake, Virginia, Todd Stephen and Angela Renee Brown of Galax, Virginia, and Michael David and Norma Jean Brown of Graham, North Carolina; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Howard's wishes were to be cremated. There are no services at this time.
