Houston Kyle Caldwell, age 18, of Galax died Friday, April 30, 2010 in Carroll County, VA.

Houston was born in Galax , VA November 3, 1991 to Kenneth & Tess Caldwell.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Hayden Caldwell, Galax, VA, Maternal Grandparents, Alvin & Tara Porter, Galax, and Paternal Grandmother, Barbara Caldwell, Galax. He is also survived by his best friend, Dalton Cranford, special friend, Stevie Barr, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, George Caldwell and aunt, Carolyn Burris. A special thanks is rendered to his Bluegrass Family, Military Brothers, Fire Department and Local Law Enforcement.

The funeral service will be held in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax, VA on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Harmon-Lineberry-Robinson Cemetery, Carroll County, VA.
The family will receive friends at the Vaughan-Guynn Funral Home from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. The officiating minister will be Dr. Lawrence Childs. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hayden- Caldwell Educational Fund C/O Grayson National Bank P.O. Box 186 Independence, Va. 24348 or any Grayson National Bank Office.
