Homer Lewis Johnson, Jr. age 70 of Fries, Virginia passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at his home.

He was born in Galax, Virginia on August 8,1953 to Homer Lewis Johnson, Sr. and Hannah Frances Byrd Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Larry Wayne Johnson.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Lena and Joe Lineberry of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Dwight Johnson; Kevin and Jennifer Johnson all of Fries, Virginia; two nieces Dianna Lineberry; Dawn and Jeff Key; nephews and spouses Khristian Johnson; Allen and Christy Hall; Andrew and Montanna Lineberry.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. Burial will be private for the family. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
