Herbert Callaway Hall, 82, of Galax passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at his home. He was born March 11, 1930 in Fries, Virginia to Noah Callaway & Mertie Jane Rhudy Hall.

Mr. Hall is survived by his daughters & their husbands: Tammy Waller of Galax; Vicki Ostrander of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Teresa & Todd Taylor of Galax; Pat & Keith Greene of Advance, North Carolina; Tracy & Marc Goodson of Galax; Tina & Eddie Davis of Galax; son and daughter-in-law: Tony Hall & Terri LeGrand of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; three sisters Frances Hill of Fries; Rose Vaughan and Willie Poe both of Galax. Sixteen grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ernie Smith and Rev. Bobbie Burcham officiating. Interment will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
