Henry Gratton Grubb age 82 of Galax, Va. passed away Saturday January 13, 2007 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born on May 19, 1924 in Tazewell County, Va. to the late Oscar Thomas & Emma Dillard Grubb. He is survived by his wife Betty Jo Burnette Grubb of Galax, Va.; daughters & sons-in-law Judy & Ted Maiden of Atlanta, Ga.; Kaye & Don Sylvester of Connecticut; Connie & Larry Reveal; Linda & Adrien Ames all of Chesapeake, Va.; Ann & Harold Wheeler of Zuni, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Mary Frances & James Bunch of Fort Myers, Florida; brothers & siters-in-law James & Joye Grubb of Buttner, N.C.; Allen & Dorothy Grubb of Raleigh, N.C.; step-children Richard Redd & Judy Wright both of Galax, Va.; Edward & Lynn Howe of Hickory, N.C.; Bobby & Ann Bunn of Woodlawn, Va.; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Tuesday January 16, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Terri Gregory officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
