Helen Kay Warf age 73 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 in the Select Specialty Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Helen was born in Galax, Virginia on August 3, 1951 to Donald Gordon and Alberta Matilda White Hudson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Victor Warf; brothers Richard (Stitch) Hudson and Bill Hudson; brother-in-law Billy Sexton.

She is survived by her husband Terry Warf of Galax, Virginia; two daughters Lisa Warf of Cary, North Carolina; Gina Warf; sister Oma-Lee Sexton; brother Dinky Hudson all of Galax, Virginia;sister-in-law Marie Hudson;  one granddaughter Ashley Ridge of Trinity, North Carolina; one great-grandson Mason; several nieces and nephews; special friend Sissy; and several other close friends.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor James Cowley officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
