Helen Louise Mabe Frost, 82, of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, Virginia. She was born in Carroll County, Virginia on November 29, 1930 to Benjamin Mabe and Martha Lawson Mabe. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Howard Frost.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Joan and David Horton of Botetourt, Virginia; Ann and Rick Hill of Galax, Virginia; two sons and daughters-in-law Frank and Danna Frost of Riverview, Florida; Dennis and Joy Frost of Woodlawn,Virginia; sister Gertrude Thomas of Galax, Virginia; brother Paul Mabe of Woodlawn,Virginia; In-laws: Dell Mabe; Katheryn Lawson; Helen Frost; Mumphord and Pinkey Frost; Wayne and Nancy Frost of Galax, Virginia; and Sid and Betty Jane Roberts of Woodlawn,Virginia. Eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and special friends Rob Bella and Ross Gentry also survive.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Carroll Lineberry and Rev. Sam Holder officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
