Helen Lorene Ingersoll Frost age 78 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Frost was born in Carroll County, Virginia on April 29, 1938 to James Vester and Maggie Isom Ingersoll. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Nelson Frost; a sister Virginia Ingersoll Byrd and a brother James Ingersoll.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Kimberly Frost and George Adams; sons and daughters-in-law Gregory N. and Rebecca Frost; Jeffrey Lynn and Lisa Combs Frost all of Galax, Virginia; three grandchildren Stevi Nicole Frost; Evan Tyler Adams and Allison Taylor Adams; sister and brother-in-law Ruth Ingersoll and Gilmer Sizemore; sister-in-law Liz Ingersoll all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Carroll Lineberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Gambetta Church of Christ.
