Helen Mae Ayers Eller age 78 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Eller was born in Carroll County, Virginia on June 30, 1935 to Alex and Lelia Bowers Ayers.
She is survived by her husband Wayne Eller; sons and daughters-in-law Brett Hodge; Bryan and Arlene Hodge; Barry and Lisa Hodge all of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Nikki Hernandez and Corey Hodge; sisters Thelma Hill of Bel Air Maryland; Wilma "Toots" Rakes of Woodlawn, Virginia; Faye Teague of Churchville, Maryland; brothers and sisters-in-law Larry and Sandy Ayers of Galax, Virginia; Dallice and Nola Ayers of Fries, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend Arlene Hamm.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Joe Tolley officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel.
