Helen Maidene Coleman age 88 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Coleman was born in Grayson County, Virginia on September 30, 1932 to Perry Lee and Gradie Carrico Reavis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Everett Wesley Coleman and one sister.

She is survived by her children Gary Lee Coleman; Micheal Jeffery Coleman; Deborah Kay Bates; Everett Wayne Coleman and Diana Lynn Coleman; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of loving caregivers.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Collins officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
