Helen Mae Bryant age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Mrs. Bryant was born in Carroll County, Virginia on January 10, 1929 to Cicero and Anna Blanche Ramey Adams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Beverly Eckles Bryant; a son Tony Michael Bryant and a brother James Adams.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Jim Smith of Peachtree City, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law Larry and Brenda Bryant; son and girlfriend Randy S. Bryant and Teresa Angles all of Galax, Virginia; sister Betty Fender of Elon College, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special niece Ann Roberts.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Myron Dalton and Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
