Heidi Jean Edmonds age 66 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Thursday, October 15, 2026 in the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Heidi was born on November 4, 1959 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Jack Ulas and Emma Jean Davis Kennedy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Douglas Robinson; Diane Sturgill; Juanita Robinson; Jackie Kennedy; Kenneth Kennedy and Little Jack Kennedy.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law Jacob and Jessie Edmonds of Max Meadows, Virginia; Joshua Smith of Galax, Virginia two sisters Lisa Campbell and Charlotte Kennedy; four grandchildren Tanner Edmonds; Cody Edmonds; Elijah Willis and Kaitlyn (KK) Smith; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Matt Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
