Hazel Marie Moss Burnett Wilson age 90 of Fries, Va. passed away Thursday November 30, 2006 in Grayson Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born on November 17,1916 in Grayson County, Va. to the late Isaac H. & Fannie Ree Bennett Moss. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands Roscoe Burnett & Marvin Wilson; a son Everette Charles Burnett and a grandson. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Doris Backley of Smithfield, Va.; Sue & Mark Register of Alabama; Charlotte & Bill Archer of Independence, Va.; sons & daughters-in-law Eldon & Cookie Burnett of Newport News, Va.; Roger & Teresa Burnett of Galax, Va.; sister Clara Emerson of Maryland; brothers James Moss of Altavista, Va.; Robert Moss of Smithfield, Va.; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Sunday December 3, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Fries Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Lacy King and Rev. Tony Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from seven until nine at the church.
