Hazel Louise Brannock's Obituary
Hazel Louise Brannock age 88 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Brannock was born in West Virginia on September 4, 1922 to Guwyn and Bessie Smith Edwards. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Letcher Brannock; sons Kyle Dean Brannock and Billy Banks Brannock and brothers Emory Edwards; Letcher Edwards; James Edwards; Banks Edwards and Dean Edwards.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Bonnie Lowe of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Forrest and Sonny Poole of Ennice, North Carolina; Jean and C.S. Smith of Woodlawn, Virginia; Brenda Ring of Galax, Virginia; Judy and Doug Chidester of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Bobbie Jo and Jimmy Moss of Independence, Virginia; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Friday, July 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Edmonds Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from one until service time at the funeral home.
