Hazel Sue Bowman age 66 of Manassas, Va. passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009 at her home.

She was born on August 24, 1943 in Carroll County, Va. to Carlie W. Pearman, Sr. and Gladys Marie Shaffner Pearman.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother Carlie W. Pearman, Jr..

Mrs. Bowman sold Avon for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roy Ervin Bowman of Manassas, Va.; mother Marie Pearman of Ivanhoe, Va.; daughter & son-in-law Shelia Ann & Donald Steen of Manassas, Va.; son Bobby Lee Bowman of Warrenton, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Daisy & Jim Lambert of Fries, Va.; brothers & sister-in-law Wilbur Ray Pearman of Ivahnoe, Va.; Roy Lee & Michelle Pearman of Front Royal, Va.; grandson who was her pride and joy Michael Allen Steen of Manassas, Va..

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Va..

The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 10:00 am in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel.
Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning one hour prior the funeral service.
