Hattie Sue Carico Trimble, age 85, of Fries, VA died Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 at the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA. Mrs. Trimble was born August 27, 1926 in Virginia to the late Lonnie & Blanche Bartlett Carico. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Frank Trimble.

Mrs. Trimble is survived by three daughters & sons: Vertie & Benny Littreal of Ivanhoe, Virginia; Susie & Jerry Hawks of Fries; Dimple & Ray Carcio, also of Fries; six sons and daughters-in-law: Johnny & Bonnie Trimble; Benny"B.B" and Betty Trimble all of Galax; Jeff Trimble, Mickey & Kimberly Trimble; Joey & Tammy Trimble, Lonnie " Buster" & Sally Trimble all of Fries, Virginia; seven sisters: Kate Livingood of Salisbury, North Carolina; Lavon Petty & Shirley Bryant both of Galax; Wanda Caudill, Joyce Davis both of Fries; Rachel Shaw of Independence; Edna Lineberry of Woodlawn; one brother Bill Carico of Fries. Seventeen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren also survive.

A graveside service and burial will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, 4:00 PM at the Monta Vista Cemetery, Galax, VA..
