Harve Walls' Obituary
Harve Walls age 89 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Mr. Walls was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 21, 1925 to Adam and Martha Ann Bullion Walls. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Walls and four brothers Ray Walls, Rafas Walls, Troy Walls and Clyte Walls.
He is survived by his daughter Brenda Edwards of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law Terry and Sharon Walls of Marion, North Carolina; Gary and Janie Walls of Woodlawn, Virginia; two sisters Hazel Ogle and Bessie Frost both of Woodlawn, Virginia; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pa was a World War II D-Day Veteran. He was Sargent First Class. He loved his family and his country.
The funeral service will be held Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Camet Spivey and the Rev. Randy Parish officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery with Military Rites by the Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
