Harry Lee Shupe age 60 of Mt. Airy, North Carolina passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at his home.

Harry was born in Richmond, Virginia on January 25, 1958.

He was preceded in death by his mother Laura Shupe Elliott and his siblings Dale Shupe, Juanita Blevins, Judy Edwards and Jr. Shupe.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Ann Shupe of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; daughters and sons-in-law Amy and Randy Cooke of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina; April and Kris Young of Ararat, Virginia; sister Carol Edwards of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Bobby and Teresa Elliott of Ennice, North Carolina; Michael Elliott of Galax, Virginia; sisters-in-law and spouse Sandy and Tim Nester; Lois Brannock all of Galax, Virginia; brother-in-law and spouse Marvin and Angela Edwards of  Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Brandie Cooke; Coner Cooke; Brook Cooke and Jacob Poole; two step-grandchildren Sarah Young and Ethan Young several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Crooked Creek Community Church with Elder Pete Hawks, Elder Doug Hawks and Jeff Stowers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Crooked Creek Community Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 noon until time for the funeral service at the Crooked Creek Community Church.
