Harry Jones age 82 of Fries, Virginia passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024  in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

He was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 24, 1942 to Harrison and Helen Marie McMillian Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Mabel Jones.

Harry proudly served his country in the U S Army.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Patton Jones; daughter and son-in-law Missy and Harvey Young all of Fries, Virginia; sons Jody Jones and fiancé' Kristie of Hillsville, Virginia; Brian Jones of Fries, Virginia; three grandchildren and spouse Dalton and Chelsea Young; Casey Jones and Kelsey Jones; brothers and sisters-in-law James Jones; Ralph and Karen Jones; Mike and Janet Jones all of Fries, Virginia; Wayne and Lula Jones of Clemmons, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 1:00 PM in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Fries, Virginia with Pastor Marty Stallard officiating.  There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,  262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
