Harry Franklin Cummings better known as Frank Cummings age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday December 28, 2022, in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Frank was born in Galax, Virginia on November 29, 1951 to Harry Lindburg and Mary Etta Utt Cummings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Taylor Jade Cummings.

He is survived by his wife Judy Sumner Cummings of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Ken Lamar and Tammy Cummings of Galax, Virginia; Aaron Craig and Amanda Cummings of Cramerton, North Carolina; six grandchildren Shannon Ayers Alderman (Jay); Lindsay Ayers Gertin  (Jason); Aaron Shane Cummins; Evelyn Grace Cummings; James Wilson Cummins; Luke Ryan Cummings; four great-grandchildren Sydney Alderman; Caleb Gertin; Addyson Alderman; Madison Gertin; sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Joe Weddle of Galax, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

The family respectfully request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Crossroads Primitive Baptist Church in memory of Frank.
