Harry Jaunell Bilbrey age 85 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mr. Bilbrey was born in Galax, Virginia on February 13, 1941 to Herschel and Joy Sumner Bilbrey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Vaughan Bilbrey.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Julie Bilbrey of Greensboro, North Carolina; daughter Julie Duell of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Darlene and Jerry Edwars of Independence, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Raven Bilbrey of Galax, Virginia; Wilburn and Ellen Bilbrey; Garold Bilbrey all of Fries, Virginia; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
