Harry Lee Barrett, Sr., age 71, of Fries, VA, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Barrett was born May 5, 1942 in Fries, VA to Roy & Verla Billings Barrett.

He is survived by sons & daughter-in-law, H. Lee Barrett, Jr. and Sally, Fries, VA & Joe Barrett, Fries, VA; daughters & friend, Lynn Barrett & Edward Pickett, Galax, VA & Crystal Barrett, Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Tootie Spencer, Lynchburg, VA; brothers & sister-in-law, Odell & Earlene Barrett, Bobby Lee Barrett and Roy Wayne Barrett, Jr., all of Fries, VA; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barry Newman and the Rev. Myron Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the funeral home.
