Harry Blaine Banks, Jr.'s Obituary
Harry Blaine Banks, Jr., 64, of Galax, VA passed away Saturday October 28, 2006 at Heritage Hall- Laurel Meadows in Laurel Fork. He was born in Mt. Airy, NC on June 19, 1942 to Harry Blaine and Bernice Hall Banks.
He is survived by two daugthers & one son-in-law: Barbara & Matthew Anderson of Bluefield, VA; Patty Banks of Galax. Two Sons & a daughter-in-law: SMSGT Jeff & Dee Banks of Cambridgeshire, England and Jack Banks of Fancy Gap, VA. One Aunt: Cosby Horton of Fancy Gap, VA and three grandchildren: Jonathon, Rebecca, and Brittany Burton also survive.
The family received friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Vaughan-Guynn. The funeral service was held Tuesday, October 31, 2006 in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel at 11:00 AM with interment in the Monta Vista Cemetery. Military rites were conducted by the Hillsville VFW Post #1115.
