Harold Dean Reeves, age 56, of Galax, passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA.. Mr. Reeves was born on April 28, 1951 in Grayson County, Va. to Carl Dean & Wilda Rose Blevins Reeves. He is survived by his wife Linda Reeves of Galax, Va.; daughter & son-in-law Sherry & Chris Johnson of Galax, Va.; step-daughter Angela Osborne of Charlotte,N.C.; step-son Bennie Osborne of Elk Creek, Va.; sisters & brothers-in-law Kathy & George Martin of Galax, Va.; Betty & Odell Edwards of Random,N.C.; brother & sister-in-law Jimmy & Tonya Reeves of Sparta, N.C.. one granddaughter; two step-granddaughters and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Pete Hawks, Rev. Bill Ring & Rev. Wyonal Smythers officating. Burial will follow in Crab Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
