Harold Dale Leedy's Obituary
Harold Dale Leedy age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Leedy was born on December 18, 1927 in Carroll County, Virginia to Ribble and Kitty Bedsaul Leedy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Robinson Leedy.
He is survived by a son Dennis Leedy of Galax, Virginia; granddaughter Heather Donavant of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; step-granddaughter Kayla Hawks of Galax, Virginia; step-grandson Jason Bullins of Baltimore, Maryland; sister Blanche Edwards of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend Katherine Luper of Galax, Virginia.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Bishops Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 PM until service time at the church. The family request that all food be taken to the Bishops Chapel United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
