Harold Carson Keen age 77 of Fries, Va. passed away Wednesday night at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Keen was born on September 21, 1930 in Swedesboro, New Jersey to Joseph H. & Pearl L. Carson Keen. He is survived by his wife Margaret M. Keen of Fries, Va.; daughters & sons-in-law Cheryl & Carlton Johnson; Debra & John Shivers all of Woodstown, New Jersey; son & daughter-in-law David & Cindy Keen of Pilesgrove, New Jersey; sister Patricia Donnell of Penns Grove, New Jersey, three grandchildren and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Blevins and Rev. Millard Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from seven until nine at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Fries Volunteer Fire Department and Resuce Squad, P.O. Box 9 Fries, Virginia 24330.
