Harold Douglas Davis, age 75, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday March 22, 2024 in Woltz Hospice House.

Harold was born on December 10, 1948 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Harold G. and Naoma Burnett Davis.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca "Becky" Davis of Galax, Virginia; son Ross Douglas Davis of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Nelson Galyean of Galax, Virginia; sister Loretta Jane Davis of Galax, Virginia; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Harold ran a greenhouse business for many years. He loved gardening and caring for plants and flowers. His hobbies included fishing and enjoying natures beauty on the New River and the Blue Ridge Parkway. He was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed following Virginia Tech sports. He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends.

The memorial visitation will be held Wednesday March 27, 2024 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
