Harold Lloyd Delp age 63 of Hickory, N.C. passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 at Camelot Manor Nursing Home. Mr.Delp was born in Carroll County, Va. on May 11, 1944 to Frank William & Lydia Walker Delp. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a daughter Jessica Robin Delp and two brothers Marvin Delp & L.B. Delp. In addition to his mother Lydia Delp of Woodlawn he is survived by his wife Iza Delp of Hickory, N.C.; sons & daughters-in-law Michael & Stephanie Delp of Hudson, N.C.; Collin & Melissa Delp of Hilderbran, N.C.; sisters Wanda Reece of Spartanburg, S.C.; Lavon Henderson of Dry Creek, West Virginia; Patricia Alman of Atlanta, Ga.; Janie Delp of Woodlawn, Va.; brothers Edward Delp of Hickory, N.C.; John Lakewood Delp of Galax, Va.; Roger Delp; Freddie Delp; Rawlan Delp and Donald Delp all of Woodlawn, Va.; four grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 3:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Ronny Harrison offiiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from one until three pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
