Harold Greek Davis age 79 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday morning in Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born November 5, 1926 in Grayson County, Va. to the late Alexander Chapman and Catherine Rook Robbins Davis. He is survived by his wife, Naoma Burnette Davis; daughters and son-in-law, Linda D. & Nelson Galyean; Loretta Jane Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Harold D. & Becky Davis all of Galax, Va.; four grandchildren and their spouse, Brandy & Craig Widner; Doug & Michelle Galyean; Donnie & Angie Galyean and Ross Davis. Four great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery with Military Rites by Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
