Harold Samuel Bryson age 73 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Bryson was born in Virginia on December 14, 1938 to Walter and Lelia Tolliver Bryson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Lawrence Bryson.
He is survived by his wife Marlene Bryson of Galax, Virginia; children and spouses Angela and Dr. Johnny L. York of Winston-Salem, North Carolna; Michael and Trivia Bryson of Galax, Virginia; Sherry Bryson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Stephanie Jackson of Galax, Virginia; siblings and spouse Willard Bryson of Galax, Virginia; Henretta Trusty of Kileen, Texas; Jerry and Ann Bryson of Galax, Virginia; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, April 13, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Dr. Johnny Young officiating . Burial will follow in the Glades Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 PM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
