Harlow Miller age 84 of Fries, Virginia passed away Thursday, July 23,2009 in Golden Living Center.
Mr. Miller was born in North Carolina on March 2,1925 to Wade & Cora Darnell Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Jimmy Miller.
He is survived by his wife Logene Miller of Fries, Va.; son Gary Miller of Johnson City, Tennessee; grandchildren Sarah Swingle; Rebecca Miller & Hannah Miller; sisters Jettie Taylor of Pa.; Walcie McBride of Welch, West Va.; sisters-in-law & spouses Peggy & Kermit Douglas of Salem,Va.; Brenda & Ondra Goodson of Fries, Va.; brother-in-law & spouse Rev. Ted & Shirley Anders of Bland, Va.; several nieces & nephews; special nieces Pam Swinney & Carolyn Byrd; special friends Mildred & Clifton Haga and Nancy Watson.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 1:00 pm in Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Ted Anders and Rev. Ben Haga officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Fries, Va.. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 am until service time at Grace Baptist Church.
