Hardy Thomas Moore age 79 of Fries, Virginia passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Moore was born in Galax, Virginia on December 9, 1938 to Dwight and Topsy Cornelia Moss Moore. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Doris Moore; sisters Mary June Lovell and Nadine Underwood; brothers Landon Moore and Phipps Moore.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Christie and Wayne Coleman of Fries, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Tony and Jean Moore of Galax, Virginia; step-daughter Jenny Hill of Fries, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Joyce and David Anders of Independence, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Johnny and Donna Moore of Sparta, North Carolina; grandchildren Jesse Davis; Jayson Carr and Jared Moore; several nieces and nephews

A graveside service will be held Sunday April 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Stevens Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Ben Haga officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Grayson VFW Post 7726. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
