Hannah Frances Johnson age 82 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson was born on August 28, 1931 in Grayson County, Virginia to Will and Myrtle Porter Byrd.
She is survived by her husband Homer Lewis Johnson, Sr. of Fries, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Lena and Joe Lineberry of Galax, Virginia; sons Homer Lewis Johnson, Jr.; Larry Wayne Johnson; William Kevin Johnson and special friend Jennifer Sonner all of Fries, Virginia; Dwight David Johnson of Ivanhoe, Virginia; sisters Irene Porter of Max Meadows, Virginia; Edna Johnson of Galax, Virginia; brother Joe Vaughan of Fries, Virginia; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Watson and Jeff Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
