Hampton Lewis Edwards age 88 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his Home.

Mr. Edwards was born in Carroll County, Virginia on November 6, 1930 to Riley Andrew and Emma Frances Hundley Edwards. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Victoria Edwards, son James Edwards, brothers and sisters-in-law Clifton and Nanny Edwards; Glenn and Rennie Edwards; John and Edith Edwards; Oscar and Alma Edwards; sisters and brothers-in-law May Edwards; Nora and Clarence Dalton; Blanche and Troy Coleman; Betty and Richard Burcham and sister Irene Akers.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Edwards of Woodlawn, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Doug and Donnie Edwards of Galax, Virginia; Chuck and Pat Edwards of Woodlawn, Virginia; Robert and Eileen Edwards of Hillsville, Virginia; Mike and Connie Edwards of Archdale, North Carolina; daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Arnold Lundy of Galax, Virginia; daughter-in-law Della Edwards; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery with Pastor Elvis Poole officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
