Hallie Burnett Williams age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 3,2009 in Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Williams was born in Carroll County, Va. on March 19, 1926 to Charlie Marion & Ida Taylor Williams. He is survived by his wife Inez Mae Bourne Williams; sons & daughters-in-law Bobby & Louise Williams, Freddie Williams, Joey Williams, Alfred & Becky Williams, Connie & Valerie Williams, David & Jennifer Williams; brother & sister-in-law Oren Earl & Pauline Williams of Vinton, Va.; grandchildren Alfred Lee Williams; Bobby Joe Williams, Crystal Mustin, Samantha Farmer, Rebecca Sawyers, Randolph Scott Williams, Matthew J. Williams, Chesley Spring Williams, Cody Allen Williams, Jordan McKay Williams, Emily Laken Dye, Kelly Renee Jones; six great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews and several cousins. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev.Claude Holderfield and Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery at Dugspur, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
