Hallie Lowe Brannock, age 83, Galax, VA, died March 17, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Brannock was born March 1, 1929 in Grayson County, VA to Doctor Duncan and Melba Candis Goodson Lowe.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny C. Brannock of the home; sons & daughter-in-law, Larry & Judy Brannock, Galax, VA, Gary Brannock, Galax, VA, grandchildren, Douglas & Cheryl Brannock, Candis Brannock and Tiffany Brannock all of Galax, VA; great-grandsons, William Douglas Brannock, Galax, VA, Thomas Alexander Brannock, Galax, VA; brother & sister-in-law, Don & Rhonda Lowe, Galax, VA; sisters & brother-in-law, Marie Norman, Galax, VA, Jessie & Roy South, Galax, VA; sisters-in-law, Nora Brannock, Galax, VA, Ruby Dell Brannock, Mt. Airy, NC; several nieces & nephews; special caregiver, Misty Glasco and special friends, Billy Grace Kenny & Darrell Galyean.
The funeral service will be held Monday, March 19, 2012, 2:00 PM, at the Snow Hill Baptist Church. Officiating ministers will be Pastor Garry Adams and the Rev. Ernie Smith. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 18, 2012, at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, VA.
