Gwyn Tolbert Wroten's Obituary
Gwyn Tolbert Wroten, age 62, of Galax, VA, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at NC Baptist Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC.
Mr. Wroten was born in Mt. Airy, North Carolina on Nov. 13, 1948 to Walter Grady and Lizzie Faye Cole Wroten.
In addition to his mother, of Galax VA, he is survived by two daughters, Laura Wingo, Pulaski, VA and Elizabeth Mae Wroten, Galax, VA; sons, Michael Dwayne Wroten and Kelly Lee Wroten both of Galax, VA; brothers, Walley Scott Wroten, James Bryan Wroten and Robert Lee Wroten, all of Galax, VA; grandchildren, Bridget Martin and Eric Martin. Several nieces & and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 6:00 PM at Cumberland Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
