Guyda Frost Blevins age 95 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in the Commonwealth Assisted Living in Hillsville, Virginia.

Mrs. Frost was born on January 6, 1921 in Nottaway County, Virginia to William Daniel and Mamie Jones Frost. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dwight Blevins; sister Burlynn Roberts; brothers Dempsey Frost and Sparkie Frost.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Georgie C. Frost of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special nephew William Daniel Frost.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. James Cowley officiating. Entombment will follow in the Monta Vista Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Hillcrest Baptist Church.
