Guy Marshall Thompson's Obituary
Guy Marshall Thompson age 73 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Mr. Thompson was born in Fayette, West Virginia on March 26, 1942 to Bert E. and Marie Kincaid Thompson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Jerry Thompson.
He proudly served his country in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Judy Thompson; daughter and son-in-law Tricia and Paul Warrick all of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandchildren Summer Greco; Hayley Fink and Levi Warrick; several nieces and nephews; his beloved pet "Brianna".
The funeral service will be held Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Roger Pickett officiating. The burial will be in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, Virginia on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
