Guy Boyd Spivey's Obituary
Guy Boyd Spivey age 79 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Spivey was born in Galax, Virginia on January 3, 1935 to James Fred and Mary Etta Hall Spivey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Iva Lea Melton and brothers Arthur Spivey and David Spivey.
He is survived by three sisters Opal Edwards of Lexington, Virginia; Ila Largen and Edith Bullion both of Galax, Virginia; special niece Judy White and several other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Galax City Cemetery with Rev. Camet Spivey officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
