Guida Evelyn Buchanan's Obituary
Guida Evelyn Buchanan age 87 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in the Valley Falls Terrace Nursing Home in Boiling Springs, South Carolina.
Mrs. Buchanan was preceded in death by her husband John William Buchanan, Jr. and her son John William Buchanan, III.
She is survived by her sister Sarah B. Surratt; daughter-in-law Carolyn Buchanan of Galax, Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Associate Pastor Herman Dudley officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
