Grace Vaughan Phibbs' Obituary
Grace Vaughan Phibbs age 84 of Independence, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Phibbs was born in Grayson County, Virginia on August 30, 1933 to Thomas and Mallie Vaughan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James S. Phibbs.
She is survived by a sister Juanita Eastridge of Galax, Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Morris and Gale Rippey officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
