Grace Roberts Cole's Obituary
Mrs. Grace Roberts Cole, age 97, of Galax, VA, died at the Waddell Nursing Home, Galax, VA, Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014.
Mrs. Cole was born Dec. 28, 1916 in Carroll County, VA to Andy and Callie Lineberry Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cole.
She is survived by sisters & brother-in-law Ethel Foster, Winston Salem, NC, Pauline Jones, Winston Salem, NC and Ruby & Charles Russell, Galax, VA; brother & sister-in-law, Sid & Betty Roberts, Woodlawn, VA. Four nephews, seven nieces and her church family, also, survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in the Gladeville United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Gladeville Cemetery. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Johm Grimm. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the church preceding the funeral service.
