Grace Lavenia Burnett's Obituary
Grace Lavenia Pope Burnett age 99 of Roanoke, Virginia passed away Monday, July 5, 2010 in Lewis-Gale Medical Center.
Mrs. Burnett was born on November 17, 1910 in Carroll County, Virginia to Isaac Hamilton and Lola Bell Roberts Pope. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Burnett and daughter Mary Ann Burnett.
She is survived by two daughters Marie Bickel and Betty Lavering both of Roanoke, Va.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2010 in Monta Vista Cemetery at 2:30 pm with Rev. Camet Spivey officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
