Goldie Dellie Jones age 93 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Jones was born in Carroll County, Virginia on October 11, 1926 to Elmer James and Rosie Roberts Ring. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy William Jones; grandson Barry Hill; siblings Ila Mae Savage; Eula Belle Swinney; Gladys Moss; Dolly Aldred; Dorothy Trent; Barney Ring and Harvey Ring.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Linda and Larry Hill; granddaughter Tiffany (Candi) Hill all of Galax, Virginia; nine nieces and eight nephews; sister-in-law Margaret Ring; special friends Una Jones and Annalee Carico.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the River Hill Christian Church with Carroll Lineberry officiating. Burial will follow in the River Hill Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.

The family will be at 2608 Hebron Road, Galax, Virginia.

Due to CDC recommendations social distancing and mask will be required for the visitation and the funeral service.
