Glola Elizabeth Alley Patton, 94, formerly of Galax, Virginia and Brandon, Florida, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.

Mrs. Patton was born in Floyd County, Virginia on July 7, 1930, to Giles and Mettie Alley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert, brothers, Eddie, Roley, Hassell, and sister, Effie. To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her step-daughter, Teresa, nieces and nephews, Graylen Alley (Kay), Velma Alley, Elwood Alley (Pat), Renay Pittman (Tom), Joyce McGuire, Brenda Peters, Karen Dickerson, Janice Gammell (Mark), Lisa Kirkner (Mike), Mary Warren and many other loving relatives and friends.

Glola enjoyed traveling with Robert in their motor home, visiting every state except Alaska and Hawaii. She was a dedicated and loving wife, and she loved her family dearly.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 28 at 3:00pm at the McKenzie Cemetery in Galax, Virginia.
