Glenna Mae Fitzgerald age 83 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was born in Elliston, Virginia on July 24, 1939 to Charles and Mary Vest Atkinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ike Williams Jarels and her children Jimmy Gearheart and Tracy Clark.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Barbara and Greg Miller of Fincastle, Virginia; Betty and Michael Barker of Hillsville, Virginia; two sisters Anita Cooper of Salem, Virginia; Jo Spicer of Elliston, Virginia; three brothers Ronnie Atkinson and Elwood Atkinson both of Christiansburg, Virginia; Junior Atkinson of Salem, Virginia; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services held for Mrs. Fitzgerald at this time.
